Andersen Windows’ Starting Costs
If you are ready to replace those old, drafty windows, there are certainly many beautiful windows on the market today. When you head out to go shopping, however, how do you know what windows are right for your home? Windows are one area where you don’t want to base your whole decision solely on price. One company that is known for producing captivating and quality designs is the Andersen Window and Door Corporation; but how do their prices compare with the rest of the industry?
Andersen offers three product lines; and listed below is a sample from each line. If you shop around, you’ll notice that very few manufacturers actually list their prices, but rather, refer you to a dealer. As Andersen points out, many different factors can affect pricing.
- The 200 Series. Andersen’s least expensive line, this window is basic but a solid product. A 2’ 4-3/8” W x 4’ 0” H casement window comes with a solid wood frame, dual-paned glass, and vinyl cladding to protect the sash. Complete with quality hardware, this window starts at $326.
- The 400 Series. This 2’ 4-3/8” W x 4’ 0” casement window begins at $391. It already comes with High Performance, Low E4 glass and vinyl cladding to protect the sash.
- The Architectural Line. Our third example is from the more custom architectural line. Another casement window, 2’ 0-1/8” W x 5’ 4-13/16” H, this window is top-of-the-line, with multiple glass and frame options to choose from. It begins at $1009.
